John Woloshen is the founder and chief executive officer for RATA Associates, an industry-leading provider of data compliance software and services for financial institutions.

With more than 25 years of financial software industry experience, Woloshen is one of the industry's leading experts in Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) compliance. Having worked with the Federal Home Loan Banks, he is a true innovator in this field, anticipating the need for compliance software two years before HMDA compliance became an industry-wide requirement in 1990, and before CRA requirements came into existence in 1995. Through creativity, attention to detail and an uncompromising insistence on quality, Woloshen has led RATA Associates to its leading position in the data compliance solutions industry.

Before founding RATA Associates in 1987, Woloshen held executive positions with The Bendix Corporation, a manufacturing and engineering company that was acquired by Allied Corporation in the 1980s. He then went on to hold positions with American Management Systems, a technology and management-consulting firm that was later purchased by Montreal, Canada-based CGI. He also developed several video games for the Commodore 64 computer in the 1980s as a contract programmer and has extensive experience in high-volume PC Credit Card processing and Credit Scoring with automatic approval/denial criteria built in that handled 80 percent of the decision making process.

Woloshen resides in Florida. His main hobbies are songwriting, karaoke singing and music background production for his numerous original songs.
